I used to hate the word "queer" too, until I started questioning my own self. Now that I am not sure what I am, I just know I'm not straight, I actually like the word "queer" for it, because it's sort of all-encompassing. I don't know if I'm bi or what, but I know I'm not straight, so I know that I'm "queer" and that's what I tell people.
