Title: We Don't Work
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Harry/Ron/Hermione
Prompt: 1. Beginnings
Word Count: 183.
Harry spent half his life wishing for endings. An ending to the war, an ending to his destiny, and an ending to Voldemort’s life were all he really wanted. He just wanted it all to be over so that he could get on with his life.
Everyone knew that Ron and Hermione would end up together. Deep down even Harry knew. What he hadn’t counted on was the night that the two of them came to him and asked him to be a part of it. He looked from one to the other, thinking it was a joke. But the look in their eyes told him that this was for real.
“We love you, Harry,” Hermione whispered, taking his hand.
“But…you two have each other, why do you need me for?” he asked.
Ron took his other hand and held it tightly. “We need you because without you, we don’t work.”
Harry stared, wide-eyed as they both leaned in and simultaneously kissed him. As the three of them made their way up to the dorms, Harry knew that beginnings were good, too.
Title: Trouble
Rating: PG-13/Light R
Pairing: Monica/Chandler
Prompt: 1. Beginnings
Word Count: 123.
Author's Notes: Forgive me for this. I haven't written Friends in over a year. Still a bit rusty. :)
Their first night together isn’t awkward like it should be. Moving from friends to sex partners should be all about pent-up sexual frustration and quick release, but it’s not. It’s slow and tender. It’s hot, too, but not in the way that she would have expected. He takes his time, prolonging his own release to ensure that she gets hers. Even in her drunken state, she quietly admires him for this. She admires him even more by the seventh time that night. Finally tired and sated, they fall asleep.
Waking up the next morning, snuggled comfortably in his arms, Monica thinks back over all the years she’s known him. When she glances over at his sleeping form, she knows that she’s in trouble.
Title: Angel

Pairing: Ross/Rachel

“And then Chip said that he was going to Nancy’s birthday party instead!” Rachel fumed.
“No,” her new friend, Monica, said. “I can’t believe that!”
“I hate Nancy Branson!”
“I know!” Monica put an arm around Rachel’s shoulders.
The two five year olds were interrupted by Monica’s older brother opening the door without knocking. “Monica, mom wants to know if you stole her can of whipped cream again,” he said. His eyes widened when he saw the girl, no wait, make that the angel, sitting on his sister’s bed. “Oh, um…who’s this?”
“This is my new friend, Rachel Green,” Monica said.
“Hi,” Rachel said, holding out her hand to shake Ross’s.
“Hi,” Ross said vaguely.
“Tell Mom that I didn’t take it,” Monica said. “It was um…Chi-Chi. Yeah, he had it.”
Ross knew that she was lying, but he just nodded vaguely and left the room. When he got downstairs, he sat down in the chair next to his dad. “Dad?” he said.
“Yes, son?”
“Do you believe in like, Heaven and stuff?”
“Sure, son. Why?”
“Because there’s an angel up in Monica’s room right now. I think I’m in love with her.”
I promise, my Friends skills will come back. I'm just rusty. *creak creak*
